If you have experience with younger children, the position of a Mark Warner Nanny may be more suited to you. The job of a Mark Warner Nanny is a demanding yet very rewarding one full of fun! You will be living and working with a team of like minded people based in one hotel for the season which runs from April until November.
If you have experience with older children, the position of a Children's Activity Leader may be more appropriate.
Our nannies look after the children of the families staying in the hotel, therefore you do not need the local language as the families are all English speaking. You will be caring for children aged between 4 months and 13 years who are then split into clubs. Each nanny is allocated a group of children from one age group and has sole charge of those children for the duration of their holiday. Each day involves a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities, ranging from story telling in the creche to taking the children out in canoes or a paddle in the sea! Whatever age group you are with, there's sure to plenty of time in the sun and on the beach! Requirements
- Cache Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (DCE)
- NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing
- NVQ Level 3 Early Years Care and Education
- CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Professional Development in work with children and young people
- Or equivalent
or
- CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Education (CCE)
- CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Pre School Practice (CCP)
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Playwork (DPW)
- CACHE LEvel 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice (CCP)
- NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Care and Education
- NVQ Level 3 Playwork
- NVQ Level 3 Caring for Children and Young Children (CCYP)
- Or equivalent
or
- Demonstrating good childcare knowledge with a minimum of 2 years full time experience in a wide range of environments
You will also need to be an extremely motivated, friendly and devoted nanny with a lot of fun and energy to put in to ensuring the children have a wonderful holiday! The Interviewing Process
Once you have completed an application form online, this will be screened by our recruiters. If you are successful, you will be asked to attend an interview at our office in London. Please note that we will try without fail to contact you. We will keep your application on our file for three months after which you will need to apply again if we have not been able to contact you.
