Customer Service Manager
This is a very varied and challenging front of house role where no single day will be the same! You are responsible for seeing that all guests receive the highest possible standards of customer service at all times.
- Responsible for supporting the Hotel Manager in all guest related matters and managing the Customer Service Department
- Managing the daily running of the Customer Service or Reception Department
- Managing all airport transfers, arrival and departure matters and flight and room manifests
- Overseeing production of welcome packs, notice boards and other guest literature
- Managing all guest services including special requests, enquiries, lost property, providing local information etc
- Dealing with all feedback and complaints
- Liaising with Head Officer Customer Service Department and complying with all procedures and standards
- Acting as a translator when dealing with suppliers or local authorities (in certain resorts)
- Carrying out Duty Manager function as required by the Hotel Manager
- Assisting with evening entertainments and social activities
It is essential that you have a passion for providing excellent customer service therefore extensive customer service experience is required, preferably in a similar role in the travel industry. Must be highly professional with excellent interpersonal, problem solving and management skills. A second language is preferable in certain resorts.
