HOTEL ACCOUNTANT

Working in one of our hotel teams, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day finances of the hotel and providing financial support to the hotel manager. You will also liaise with our central office in Val d'Isere providing information regularly for weekly accounts reports. As a member of the hotel head of department team, you will also carry out duty manager shifts and attend regular meetings.

If you are a numerate graduate looking to get into a career in finance, this may be the perfect role for you as full training and support if provided is provided. Alternatively you may have some experience in a finance role looking to expand this in an exciting environment overseas! Working in a hotel team means plenty of interaction with other departments, and the opportunity to meet lots of new friends whilst building your career.

Accounting qualifications and European languages are not required however would be beneficial.


CENTRAL OFFICE ACCOUNTANT- Val d'Isere

Based in our central office in the popular resort of Val d'Isere, you will be responsible for the general accounting and control systems for Mark Warner's French operations which include 11 hotels throughout various resorts. You will play an integral role supporting the French Financial Accountant as well as support and guidance to Hotel Accountants.

It is therefore essential that you have an accounting background, this can be through qualifications and/or experience. Some knowledge of the French language is advantageous however not essential for the role.


CENTRAL OFFICE PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK- Val d'Isere

Based in our central office in Val d'Isere this position involves supporting the French Purchase Ledger Accountant and French Financial Accountant. You will be responsible for recording all invoices and credit notes onto the central accounts system. You will assist hotel accountants in the early stages of the season as well as liaising with our Head Office in London.

Experience in a similar position is essential and knowledge of French would be useful in this role however not essential.


CENTRAL OFFICE TREASURY ACCOUNTANT- Val d'Isere

Based in our central office the Treasury Accountant is responsible for the bank and cash accounting and control systems for Mark Warner's French operations. Supporting the French Financial Accountants and other Central Office Accountants, you will also liaise with Hotel Accountants and our Head Office in London.

Experience in cash and bank reconciliations & management is essential and knowledge of French would be useful but not essential.
