Bar Manager

Ready for a challenge this winter?

Mark Warner are looking for experienced bar managers to ensure the success of our Scottys public bars in the resort of La Plagne and Tignes in the French Alps. We are looking for motivated and innovative managers with a passion for bar management and preferably the experience and knowledge of working in a ski resort. Your role will involve all aspects of managing the bar and a team of staff to ensure it is one of the most popular bars in resort. The "Bar du Soleil" in La Plagne has a fantastic sun terrace at the foot of the slopes and Scottys in Tignes is located in Tignes Le Lavachet just a short walk from the Chaudanne and Paquis lifts and the centre of the village. Both bars will serve drinks and food throughout the day and evening including apres ski snacks and regular bands.

This position will involve managing a team of bar/waiting staff and/or chefs and kitchen porters already recruited from the UK.

The successful candidate will have extensive bar management skills, preferably have knowledge of the Alps, a proven track record of achieving financial targets and excellent teamwork and communication skills. Knowledge of the French language and culture would be highly advantageous.

We offer an excellent package including return travel, accommodation, all meals, lift pass and ski/boot hire, insurance and uniform as well as a weekly wage.

There is also the opportunity to progress to our summer season in the Mediterranean.
