This is a busy and varied role where no one day will be the same! Often working under pressure you will really put your customer service and language skills to use.
The Head of Customer Services is responsible for ensuring that all guests receive the highest levels of customer service at all times. As Head of Customer Services the onus will be on you to ensure that all customer services staff extend the same level of service to all guests at all times.
Main Duties involve:
-Supporting the Manager as a member of the Head of Department team.
-Managing the hotel Customer Services team
-Supporting the Head Office Customer Services Department
-Complying with all procedures & standards as set out in the Customer Service Procedures & Standards manual
-Managing the daily running of the reception desk including all guest queries and complaints
-Overseeing production of welcome packs, notice boards, rooming manifests
-Acting as a translator and assisting in dealing with suppliers
-Dealing with all health and safety matters and reporting to head office
Previous customer service experience, professional with excellent interpersonal, listening and communicative skills. Management experience within the tourism industry preferred. Fluency in French, German or Italian essential.
