Restaurant Shift Leader
Accountable to - Restaurant Manager and/or Housekeeper, and Hotel Manager
Accountable for - Team of Chalet Staff
Responsibilities
- Responsible for suporting the Restaurant Manager in the smooth running of the restaurant and its staff
- Working closely with your Head of Departments, to jointly manage your team of chalet staff
- Establishing and implementing systems of service within the restaurant in accordance with the Mark Warner standards
- Allocation of duties during each shift, covering sections as/where necessary
- Planning of restaurant buffet layouts, liaising with the Head Chef.
- Assisting in staff training
- Ensuring Health and Safety within the restaurant areas
- Assisting within other departments as and when required
Requirements
Strong experience within an a la carte environment is preferable, with excellent organisational and supervisory skills.
