Accountable to - Hotel Manager
Accountable for - Team of Chalet Staff
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of the restaurant and its staff
- Working closely with the Housekeeper, to jointly manage your team of chalet staff (ie rotas, dealing with any staff issues, training)
- Establishing and implementing systems of service within the restaurant in accordance with the Mark Warner standards
- Allocation of duties during each shift, covering sections as/where necessary
- Planning of restaurant buffet layouts, liaising with the Head Chef.
- All aspects of staff training
- Ensuring Health and Safety within the restaurant areas
- Duty manager on a rotational basis
- Assisting within other departments as and when required
Requirements
Strong experience within an a la carte environment is preferable, with excellent organisational and management skills.
- La Plagne - Bar du Soleil: French speaking Restaurant Supervisor to run our busy public restaurant in a central location in the resort of La Plagne, France. Must have extensive restaurant management experience as well as a good standard of spoken French.
- Non-French speaking Restaurant Manager applications also welcome for all other Hotels.
